Gökyüzü Restaurant Harringay

A jewel in the crown of Green Lanes, one that has been open for 23 years. Gokyuzu is a fresh, spacious and contemporary restaurant for traditional and modern Turkish cuisine that has plenty of spaces for tables of more than four people. There are plenty of blue and tanned brown leather booths and tables, a combination that seems to work well with geometric-tiled separators, allowing a degree of privacy and a feeling of spaciousness. As well as families, there is now a more gentrifying young professional element that loves Gokyuzu too.

Chefs prepare food at the side of the front, in full view of passers-by allowing you to glimpse the preparation of freshly cut Mediterranean vegetables and meats glowing slowly over large grills. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options too. Highly recommended.
